As the Team Anna core committee was dissolved by Anna(August 7/2012) for purpose of providing political alternative, a new committee for preparations of elections or an election preparatory committee was formed on the same day.
Committee right now consists of seven people including Yogendra Yadav(Political scientist) ,Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan, Kiran Bedi, Kumar Vishwas, Sanjay Singh and Manish Sisodiya.
The committee would meet and discuss social activists, people and NGOs to make a political party.
Anna in his blog clearly hinted that he was not on the same page with his associates on their political ambition.He has thrown some basic questions to his team on the practicality of their political plans.(click here to See )
Some basic questions were
1) How to select candidates from people and How to ensure their credentials?
2) How to contest elections without spending money (unlike other political parties)?
3) How to enlighten voters to vote on issues and not any other factor (caste/vote bank, alcohol or money) ?
